Tim Penny Architecture and Interiors was established in 2009 as a studio based practice that is client focused, design led and underpinned by the idea that good architecture requires good processes.
We are inspired by all things design including the heroic architecture of the Modernists together with the tradition of sturdy Tasmanian architects, who for the last century have built interesting architectural stories that we continue.
We also love contemporary art and good fiction, including the mad architecture of Haruki Murakami’s mind.
We love the Tasmanian landscape and the challenge of putting stories in it.
Tim Penny trained in Tasmanian graduating from UTAS with distinction. He is a Churchill Fellow and undertook study of innovative school architecture.
